Welcome to St. Barbara's!

St. Barbara's is a parish with over 25 years of history in the Fort Worth community. Pastored by the V. Rev. Basil Zebrun, we have a membership of about 60 adult members. Parish activities include monthly church school, two yearly festivals, church workdays, our charitable activities, and other education/outreach events.

St. Barbara's is home to a wide variety of parishioners, from those born and raised Orthodox in other countries to converts from here in the United States. We welcome you to come and worship with us, meet our members, and ask questions.

Our current home at 5201 Altamesa Blvd. is phase one of our overall site plan, a beautiful 6,400 sq. ft. all-purpose facility. We are truly thankful to be able to spread out in our new building. Within 5 to 7 years, we hope to be able to proceed with phase two of the plan, which will include building a traditional Orthodox Church. At that point, our current Parish Hall/Chapel will be converted into a full Parish Hall.
